First prize at the ARD International Music Competition 2021

“[Gilda] has found in Anastasiya Taratorkina a fantastic singer-actress with a lucid soprano – light as air and resonant even at the highest notes of the ‘Caro nome’ dream sequence – and an aura of expressive power.”

Rigoletto, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, 27.07.2026
Jürgen Otten, Opernwelt

“Anastasiya Taratorkina sang this aria with genuine feeling, taking it far beyond a mere virtuoso showpiece. Crystal-clear high notes, brilliant coloratura, convincingly precise phrasing and the purest tone, coupled with profound emotional depth, made this aria a masterpiece of vocal expression.”

Rigoletto, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, 16.07.2026
Christoph Wurzel, bachtrack

“With her brilliantly crafted coloratura, Anastasiya Taratorkina sings her way from a doll-like state into a newfound femininity, emerging as a great vocal seductress. She delivers a sensational performance in this, Verdi’s late swan song to bel canto.”

Rigoletto, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, 29.06.2026
Bernd Künzig, SWR

“…as well as Anastasiya Taratorkina (Sister Constance). The latter provided the vocal highlights of the evening with her sensationally flexible lyrical coloratura soprano.”

Dialogues des Carmelites, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, 24.01.2026
J.-M. Wienecke, Das Opernglas

“She perfectly embodies the enlightened queen in this daring decision to love freely, rejecting the weight of tradition.”

Les Boréades, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, 04.10.2025
Hervé König, Anaclase

“Anastasiya Taratorkina sang and acted a touching Eurydice, travelling with lightness and delicate lines to the realm of the dead, where she finds even more intimate lyricism.”

Dresden: „L’Orfeo“, Claudio Monteverdi
Der Opernfreund

“Soprano Anastasiya Taratorkina as ORYX made the audience sit up and take notice. With her bright, clear soprano, she masters the difficult part seemingly effortlessly. In the trebles without any pressure, the voice carries in all registers and impresses with a high degree of variability in the most difficult interval leaps.”

Wiesbaden, Hessisches Staatstheater, ORYX AND CRAKE
Opernreport, Turgay Schmidt

“The sun rose radiantly during her Norina aria from Don Pasquale by Donizetti. Perfect diction, softly intoned top notes at every dynamic level, humour and an economical approach to the exact point of the role made her interpretation an experience.”
